Karbonn S2 Titanium with 5-inch screen out on May 14 for Rs 10,790


Karbonn mobiles has another quad-core smartphone ready for launch. The S2 Titanium, successor to the S1 Titanium, will be launched on 14 May and the device will cost Rs 10,790. The smartphone is available for pre-order on Infibeam.
Key features of the smartphone are: A 5 inch capacitive touchscreen, 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor, an 8 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera. The device runson the Android 4.1 version of Jelly bean, has 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM and the memory can be expanded upto 32 GB via MicroSD. This is a 3G smartphone, with support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. It is also a Dual-SIM smartphone.

Karbonn had also launched its S5 Titanium recently. This device has also has a 5-inch screen with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 Ghz. The smartphone is priced at Rs 11,990 and it is a Dual-SIM device and the smartphone was exclusively launched onSnapdeal.
In terms of specifications the two smartphones are almost the same, except that  the screen for the S5 has a higher resolution with quarter HD at 540×960 pixels. The only difference appears to be in Karbonn’s pricing
